Anyone who ever played Pen & Paper, wether it was Dungeons & Dragons, Ravenloft, Shadowrun or whatever, knows how atmospheric such gathering with your friends around a table can become. And honestly, who does not sometimes wish to be teleported back in time just to experience some of the cool adventures with your favorite Dungeon Master.

I love the technology their using with this. while i can see us advancing to this eventually without question. at some point i could see our characters on our phones and transmitted wirelessly to the table to display our stats and such. possibly at some point in time even play online among friends via the internet because of the tech involved. im very curious to see where this goes in all aspects
and i suddenly feel a need to grab my dice and hunt up some friends.

I believe so but not unless it becomes affordable, Graph paper is pretty cheep and so is poster board. But I am impressed with it and will continue to watch this thread.

They're just taking away all the magic of rolling a dice this way.
One day people will understand that what they should do is using technology and "classic" and not technology or "classic".

Cost and efficiency are going to be major factors.
Something like this is going to have to be useful for more than D&D for it to see widespread success.
