New Bonus Item: The Edge

Among them were projects for Neverwinter Nights, WarCraft, Diablo and Quake--just to name a few. In late September 2009, he started to develop this blog with the support of BioWare/EA.
BioWare and Electronic Arts understand how to keep the folks busy. For anyone who purchases and registers the game before November 30, 2009 there will be a new ingame item – a dagger – waiting for the lucky player.
Those who purchase Dragon Age™: Origins before November 30th will automatically receive the in-game item, “The Edge”. The Edge is an extremely sharp blade that is the pinnacle of Ferelden crafting. It adds bonuses to damage, attack, and critical strike chance.
To receive the item, users must login to social.bioware.com and register the game by entering their unique CD key (PC) or UPC code (Xbox 360®/PLAYSTATION®3) before November 30, 2009. Then use the same login information within the game and the item will appear on the in-game Downloadable Content screen ready to download.
This applies to all accounts created before November 30, 2009.

So I am intrepretting that said dagger should be avail now. I didn’t see it. I’ll be patient.

Where is this item. I am registered but no Edge appears for download. Anyone get it yet?

Well you can use the above link to download it for the PC version and use the daupdater.exe to install it.

Sorry Cak, I mean with the release of DA:O, there were items from Steam, various online sources and the Collector's Edition that were only available when you preordered from 'their' specific site. Off the top of my head I don't know what I'm missing, but there's another article here in archive with a list of preorder items available. I preordered at GameStop and got the items from the flash game. The 'Edge' was an item available with the Collector's Edition, so that's what I meant previously.

Personally, I believe all pre-order items will be available soon. Cannot tell you more yet though ;)
