Victor Wachter, BioWare’s Community Facilitator, announced that the Xbox 360 version of Dragon Age: Origins would be receiving a small update later today (January 13th).

While this patch will only address an issue found with both The Stone Prisoner and Warden’s Keep DLCs, BioWare is hard at work on the first console update. Though a date for the larger patch has yet been set, we do know that it will be released at the same time as Return to Ostagar.

On January 13, there will be an update to the XBox 360 version of Dragon Age: Origins. This update will resolve an issue that caused the four achievements earned from the Warden’s Keep and Stone Prisoner DLC to not appear during the first four days of the game’s launch. If you have already completed the requirements for these achievements, they will appear automatically when you next start Dragon Age: Origins while signed in to the EA servers.

Even though, as one Community member pointed out, this patch fixes something that is “in the greaters (sic) scheme of things, rather worthless” many 360 fans are likely to be overjoyed that BioWare has not completely forgotten them.

Catch you next time, Grey Wardens.
