What about Return to Ostagar and Awakening?
While others have already downloaded, tested, played and enjoyed Return to Ostagar, the Playstation 3 Playerbase is still waiting for the DLC. However, it should be clear by now that BioWare has no control over the PS3 delay. One of the bigger questions surfacing right now among the Community is: “Will the PS3 release for Dragon Age: Origins – Awakening also suffer from a delay?”
Is Sony to blame?
Victor Wachter, BioWare’s Community Facilitator, explains the reasons behind the delay.
Actually, to clarify, the PS3 version is in certification with Sony right now. It was developed concurrently, and was submitted for testing at the same time as Xbox 360. However, Sony has a different process than Microsoft, and so their process takes longer. This is not to point a finger and blame someone else, but to make you aware of the fact that we do consider the PS3 right along with other platforms. But that part of the release process is something that we don’t have control over.
What about Awakening?
Victor continues…
We’re scheduled to release Awakening on the same day (March 16) worldwide for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
Hopefully, this should clarify certain questions. However, if you still should have any questions or concerns, feel free to leave a comment.

That’s a sorry excuse, I fired a guy once because he came late for a meeting he blamed the rain and traffic. If I was smart enough to leave early because I know there would be delays and left early to avoid any delays so should he. I’m sure bioware knew there would be delays with Sony but poor planning and management has them sitting where they are. They are at the point of diminishing returns that’s why all this awakening news is being pushed out to build hype rto ps3 is failed and sales will reflect that. If you support the way they treat ps3 customers buy awakening and get the shaft on “future” dlc because they know they can treat you like a stepchild and you will take it.

I would agree with the top comment but would also add which one went to Sony for testing the back version of RTO or the good one.?

One Word ! FAILURE ! not only ranting about this because im pissed off but because it shows poor management tactics on Sony AND Bioware for A) Setting a release date and then Totally failing at their efforts in such and B) Screwing Up The relase date posponing it by 3 weeks for xbox 360 and Pc And were still getting the run around with the ps3. One thing is for certain they finally realized that their management Sucks and hence why we arn't recieving a time line for the ps3 relase BECAUSE knowing how much their management team needs to quit their day jobs and persue a political field if they did set a RE-Release date They would just SCREW IT UP ONCE AGAIN . GOODJOB GUYS !!

bioware has quoted on the forums that the ps3 takes 2 weeks and the xbox takes 1 week. so if it shows up by friday bioware didn't turn it in to sony for cert until a week after they turned the xbox into cert. so bioware messed up bad for the ps3 community.

I'm actually really shocked that RtO still hasn't come out for PS3 yet, and I feel really bad for all the PS3 owners out there! I was really sure it would come out for you guys sometime this week.
I doubt BioWare is holding out on RtO to be malicious and get people mad. There is a reason why it hasn't been released, but I doubt whatever that reason may be it will not be justified to the PS3 players out there and, I don't blame them.

so whats the chances of us ps3 owners to actually get to play RTO before the Awakenng stuff comes out?i for one dont think that we should be playing them in reverse order but it looks like that might happen if they dont hurry up

yeah and unfortunatly im one of them.i dont see why everyone else got it if it was being withheld from all systems for the same reason.we should have gotten it at the same time the other platforms did.im starting to loose my faith
