Xbox360 and PS3 version waiting for certification

BioWare’s community facilitator, Victor Wachter, updated his patch thread over at the social network announcing the pc version of patch v1.04 is complete and ready to be released today, Monday, July 19. However, only the PC version of the patch will be released, since the patch needs to pass Xbox 360 and PS3 certifications.

What can you expect? When will it be released?

A few moments ago BioWare’s Community Facilitator, Victor Wachter, let us know that they have been working hard to release a new patch for Dragon Age: Origins. However, there is no timeframe as to when it will be released, but Victor says, a lot of bugs found by the community will be fixed.

For PC and Xbox 360

A few minutes ago BioWare released the long awaited patch version 1.03 for both the PC and the Xbox360 version of Dragon Age: Origins. Along with a number of bugfixed and improvements made to the original code this patch also prepares the client for the upcoming expansion Awakening.

What about Return to Ostagar and Awakening?

While others have already downloaded, tested, played and enjoyed Return to Ostagar, the Playstation 3 Playerbase is still waiting for the DLC. However, it should be clear by now that BioWare has no control over the PS3 delay. One of the bigger questions surfacing right now among the Community is: “Will the PS3 release for Dragon Age: Origins – Awakening also suffer from a delay?”
