I do think there is a work around. Perhaps when Rejected, Morrigan took the taint herself and had sex with someone random to conceive the child? Perhaps she somehow held on to the Archedemon's spirit in till she could? Or depending on the background, it's either Morrigan and the dark ritual's doing, or it's the archdemon himself's doing. Find another way to get a child into the picture with a similar god-baby background ? Zevran in DA2 almost made it seem as if he was going to take over the Crows to get them off his back, but that doesn't seem to be the case (yet?) as of Silent Grove.
