Horns are the norm

These aren’t your average Qunari from Dragon Age: Origins. Two new concepts released Wednesday give us a glimpse of the horned Qunari. These Qunari are just one of several new race alterations we might be seeing in Dragon Age 2, hints some of the BioWare staff.

San Diego Comic Con, DA2 demo and a new DLC

With Dragon Age 2 on the horizon, there’s quite a bit of news to keep up with as more and more information about the game becomes available. While not everything is worthy of its own article, here at greywardens.com, we want to keep you in the know about what’s going on in the world of Dragon Age news. New story details emerge also

Earlier this week, we posted some news about a new high-tier DLC package in the works by BioWare and had a brief impression of the content. Now, that DLC has a name and more details have been revealed about the new content. One thing about “The Golems of Amgarrak” hasn’t changed though - this new module is reportedly going to be tough.

Smashing gender roles and darkspawn skulls
Most of the main characters we travel Ferelden with fit into traditional gender roles. Even those who may not be someone we’d encounter in our everyday lives still do not do much to challenge stereotypes. Let’s take a brief look at them.
Wynne – matronlike, nourishing healer.
Alistair – manly man, fights with big sword, short hair, strong facial lines.
Oghren – dwarf, drinks a lot, swears, swings a big axe.
Leliana – fights from range, does her hair up, likes pretty things.
Morrigan – fights from range, wears makeup, likes pretty things.
Enough for now. The one character who I think really makes us think about our own ideas and definitions of gender is Shale.
