BioWare’s community facilitator, Victor Wachter, updated his patch thread over at the social network announcing the pc version of patch v1.04 is complete and ready to be released today, Monday, July 19. However, only the PC version of the patch will be released, since the patch needs to pass Xbox 360 and PS3 certifications.

Released on May 18th for the modest price of $5 (400 BioWare points), the Darkspawn Chronicles offers an “alternate universe” look at the fate of Ferelden if your Grey Warden had never survived the Joining. Promising gamers a chance to “rewrite history,” this latest DLC puts us in charge of the darkspawn horde, with the task of destroying the Grey Wardens.

The wait is over! A brand new DLC for Dragon Age: Origins was released a couple of minutes ago titled “The Darkspawn Chronicles“. Play as the darkspawn and lead the horde and herald the coming of the archdemon.
